On September 3, 2025, we mark the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Over 80 years, that blood-stained history has never faded, and the spirit of resistance that embodies the national soul has always been the source of our strength to forge ahead.
1. Remember: The victory 80 years ago is a monument forged by blood and fire
Fourteen years of arduous struggle, 35 million compatriots lost, countless heroes who used their lives to embody the spirit of "better to be shattered jade than intact tile" — Yang Jingyu held firm despite having only grass roots and tree bark in his stomach, the Five Heroes of Wolf Tooth Mountain leapt off a cliff showing unyielding spirit, the Battle of Pingxingguan shattered the myth of "the Japanese army is invincible," and the Hundred Regiments Offensive sounded the horn of counterattack. This victory was the first complete victory against foreign invasion in modern China, not only avenging a century of national humiliation but also playing a key role as the main battlefield in the East, making an indelible contribution to the victory of the world anti-fascist war.
