Product Introduction - Transfer Film

Author:

Chinafilm

I. Product Definition

Transfer Film ( Transfer Film ) is a functional film material widely used in packaging, printing, textiles, building materials, electronics and other industries. Through certain heat pressing, UV , pressure or other methods, the patterns, layers or coatings on the film are completely transferred to the target substrate.

II. Product Advantages

Fine patterns: High-precision printing, clear pattern edges, distinct layers, and vibrant colors.

Cost saving: Reduce traditional processes such as spraying and electroplating, saving labor and materials.

Environmentally friendly and safe: Most transfer films meet environmental standards, are free of heavy metals, VOC and have low emissions.

Wide applicability: Can be transferred to various substrates such as plastics, metals, wood, textiles, and paper.

Easy to operate: Can be used in a variety of ways such as heat transfer, cold transfer, and pressure transfer.

Good durability: The transferred patterns have good abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, and UV resistance.

III. Product Features

Features   Description

Multiple base film options   PET BOPP PVC etc.

Customizable design   Customization supported LOGO , patterns, colors, designs, etc.

Multiple process compatibility   Support UV , matte, mirror, metallic, wood grain, etc.

Layer-by-layer transfer   Suitable for complex structures and stacking processes

High adhesion   Ensures complete pattern transfer and prevents shedding

Fast transfer   Shorten production cycle and improve efficiency

IV. Technical Parameters (taking PET heat transfer film as an example)

VI. Production Process

Substrate selection: Select PET PVC high transparency or high-temperature performance film materials.

Pattern design: Use special software to finely design patterns.

Printing process:

Gravure printing, screen printing, flexographic printing, UV printing

Multicolor overprinting and positioning control

Functional coating: Add scratch-resistant, UV , waterproof, anti-static, matte, etc.

Composite coating: Composite release agent, adhesive layer, protective layer, etc.

Slitting and rewinding: Slitting and packaging according to customer Specification.

VII. Market Competitive Advantages

High technical barriers: High-precision printing and layer control require stable processes and accumulated experience.

Strong customer stickiness: Customized patterns and long-term cooperation bind customer resources.

Alternative to traditional processes: Transfer films have advantages such as low cost, environmental protection, safety, and speed, and can replace traditional surface treatment methods such as spraying, electroplating, and printing.

High product added value: Appearance improvement and Brand enhancement can bring premium pricing capabilities to the end products.

Environmental regulations drive: EU and domestic "dual carbon" policies promote the use of pollution-free processes.

VIII. Future Development Trends

Green and environmentally friendly development: Promoting the development of water-based adhesives, solvent-free technologies, and recyclable base films.

Intelligent manufacturing upgrade: Using AI Visual identification and automatic positioning and register printing to improve efficiency and yield.

Expansion of high value-added functions: such as antibacterial films, color-changing films, and intelligent light-control films.

Customization and small batch trends: Meeting the market demand for multiple varieties, short cycles, and quick response.

Cross-border integrated applications: With 3C Integration with high value-added industries such as electronics, automotive interiors, and medical consumables.

Global market expansion: In particular, new opportunities brought about by the transfer of manufacturing industries in Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
