Chinafilm Group's 12.91MW distributed photovoltaic project officially starts!

On April 15, 2025, Chongqing Chinafilm Technology Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chinafilm Group") and Sunshine New Energy Company jointly held a groundbreaking ceremony for a 12.91MW distributed photovoltaic power generation project in Chongqing. This marks the official launch of Chinafilm Group's important layout in the field of green energy and demonstrates the company's firm determination in sustainable development. 
Chinafilm Group, as a leading enterprise in the thin-film new materials industry, has always adhered to the development concept of innovation and environmental protection. With a registered capital of 250 million yuan, it focuses on the research, development, production, and sales of special films, functional films, and pre-coated films. Its products are widely used in printing, electronic information, building materials, and many other fields. This project is self-invested and constructed by Chinafilm Group, aiming to make full use of the factory roof resources of its subsidiaries to achieve self-generated and self-used photovoltaic power generation, reduce the company's electricity costs, and promote green development. 
This photovoltaic project adopts advanced photovoltaic technologies and equipment, featuring high power generation efficiency, system stability, and reliability. The project will be built within Chinafilm Group's own factory area and is expected to be completed in mid-2025. After commissioning, the project will provide Chinafilm Group with more than 10 million kWh of clean energy annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1,000 tons and contributing to the achievement of the "dual carbon" goals. 
Sunshine New Energy Company, as a professional contractor in the field of photovoltaic power generation, will be responsible for the design, construction, and installation of the project. Its rich experience in photovoltaic system solutions provides Chinafilm Group with strong technical support. This cooperation reflects Chinafilm Group's strategic layout in the field of green energy and lays the foundation for the company to achieve energy self-sufficiency and reduce its reliance on external power. 
The launch of this project will not only help alleviate the company's electricity pressure but also effectively reduce the consumption of traditional fossil fuels and provide a demonstration for the green energy development of Chongqing. The in-depth cooperation between Chinafilm Group and Sunshine New Energy Company marks the close collaboration between the two parties in the fields of green energy and sustainable development, laying the foundation for more cooperation in the future.
