The difference between pre-coated film and ordinary film
Author:
The main difference between pre-coated films and ordinary films is their processing technology and application characteristics. Pre-coating is a process in which the plastic film is glued and rewound in advance, and then compounded with paper prints. This film usually has good light resistance and certain chemical stability, and the thickness is generally between 0.01-0.02mm. The application of pre-coating film can improve the gloss and fastness of printed matter, make the graphic color more bright, rich three-dimensional sense, and have the functions of waterproof, antifouling, abrasion resistance, folding resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and so on.
Ordinary film, also known as light film, is suitable for food packaging, paper composite and general packaging printing composite, is a large amount of Bopp pre-coated products. Types of common films include flat films, smoke films, and matte films, each having different characteristics and uses. For example, flat film is widely used in all kinds of printing, composite products for a variety of food, goods packaging use; smoke film, although the overall use of small, but higher profits; matting film has low gloss and high haze, mainly used for books, periodicals, annual report covers and other paper composite.
Regarding the question of whether the precoated film is toxic, the raw materials of the precoated film and the adhesives used in the processing process are usually strictly screened and tested to ensure its safety and non-toxicity. Therefore, the precoated film is considered safe under normal conditions of use.
